Engineering Manager (Clinton, TN – On-site)
Tjoapack is a global contract packaging organization (CPO) with over 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging and supply chain management. Headquartered in the Netherlands, and with a growing site in Clinton, TN, we are focused on shaping the future of the pharmaceutical supply chain — making it safer, more reliable, and patient-centered.
To support our growth in the U.S., we are looking for a driven Engineering Manager to lead our technical operations, implement engineering solutions, and take ownership of our equipment reliability and facility performance.
Your Impact
As Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of engineers and technicians.
- Managing the facility’s maintenance strategy and ensuring optimal performance of all equipment.
- Driving engineering projects from concept to completion — on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce production interruptions and improve changeover processes.
- Maintaining safety, validation, and documentation protocols in line with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Playing a critical role in shaping validation strategies, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives.
️ What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success with automated packaging or assembly systems — pharma experience is a big plus.
- Strong project management capabilities and hands-on experience with complex installations and validations.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Analytical and solutions-driven, with a knack for driving process improvements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — able to work cross-functionally and inspire teams.
