The Opportunity :
Are you ready to start your engineering career and make a real impact? We are seeking a Junior Physics Engineer – R&D Intern to join our research and development (R&D) team and work on real-world physics applications in electromagnetics, signal processing, and computational modeling. If you are a passionate physics student or soon to be graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in applied physics and engineering, this is your opportunity.
What You'll Do :
Physics-Based Research & Experimentation :
- Design and conduct experiments on wave propagation, radar systems, and electromagnetic interactions.
- Perform index of refraction calculations, signal transmission, and material interactions.
- Analyze signal transmission, vector fields, and electromagnetic radiation patterns (E&M).
- Develop and validate physics-based simulations for system behavior analysis.
- Apply kinematics and modern physics principles to system design and testing.

Pay Transparency :
The expected compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, which includes base pay plus variable incentives, if applicable. The hourly range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based in factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and / or experience.
