This position pays $20.77/hour monthly performance bonuses
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide exceptional service and personalized solutions to ensure customer’s needs are being met
- Multi-task between various systems and requests by using efficient computer skills and professional communication
- Act as a liaison between DLS and our carriers by addressing questions in a timely manner
- Achieve a high level of familiarity with the shipping trends and patterns of the customers, their vendors and carriers
- Effectively negotiate profitable rates with our carriers
- Review the information submitted and accurately enter the data in our system
- Quickly and accurately determine a proper course of action based on the shipment details
- Inform the carrier of the process and what to expect throughout the process
- Consistent follow up on the status of the issue
- Process requests efficiently while updating our operating system with any applicable documentation and paperwork
- Arrive to work on time and consistently to foster healthy relationships with our customer, carriers and fellow co-workers
- Prioritize and resolve issues by utilizing decision-making skills and attention to detail
