What are the responsibilities and job description for the Participation Operations Supervisor (Onsite) position at TM Floyd & Company (TMF)?
We are currently seeking a Participation Operations Supervisor to join our team in Columbia, SC. This position will be onsite three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as team leader for participation syndication operations when assigned, and additionally, designs and delegates assignments and tasks to others
- Adhere to project methodology according to established standards and handle change control, recovery procedures, and knowledge transfer to others accordingly
- Oversee technical architectural issues and resolutions for ACBS
- Support advanced requests or demonstrations surrounding the Participation Portfolio and ACBS - external sources include association operations related to participations and outside prospects or outsourcing customers
- Participate in analysis of requested portfolio reporting or outsourcing needs
- Direct others in report specification and questions
- Assist in ensuring that when new reporting issues or standards are considered, the quality of data delivered meets unit definitions
- Assists in ad hoc requests from various internal and external resources
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of comparable work experience including supervisory experience
- Knowledge of accounting, GAAP, audit, commercial lending, credit, risk management, and funding terminology - as related to customer/loan data and financial instrument servicing requirements
- Advanced project management and project experience
- Expertise in system issues including automated origination, accounting and servicing systems, client-server applications, and mainframe applications including various programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of all database technologies
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
