Assistant Customer Service Associate
Summary
The Assistant Customer Service Associate is responsible for working closely with the Production Scheduler to plan weekly and monthly production schedule for manufacturing based on customer demand and in-house date requirements utilizing capacity and time constraints. The Assistant Customer Service Associate will work with operations to identify and plan accordingly to ensure inventory levels and customer due dates are maintained or communicated in a timely fashion.
Assistant Customer Service Duties:
- Provide reporting and analysis required by the customer to align demand expectations with the production plan.
- Promote and develop positive communications with customer and internal team.
- Ensure that all customer requests for delivery information are handled with direct answers or escalations.
- Review and update forecasts, production schedules, and material requirements.
- Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels and communicate to Production Scheduler for necessary schedule revisions.
- Analyze inventory levels versus product demands to determine reorder levels and adequate safety stock.
Assistant Customer Service Qualifications:
- Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work on the production floor and in the warehouse
- High School degree with some college preferred
- Bilingual a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
