Position Overview:
TNT Crane & Rigging, a leading provider of crane and rigging solutions, is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. This role involves managing and maintaining critical business systems that ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, proactive in problem-solving, and passionate about optimizing system performance to support our mission of delivering world-class services.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Management & Maintenance: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of key systems, including ERP, Finance and safety software, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance, address issues promptly, and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency and uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain the security of systems in compliance with company policies and industry standards. Protect sensitive data through effective security measures.
• API Integration: Develop and maintain API integrations to connect various systems and improve data flow between departments.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide hands-on technical support to resolve system-related challenges quickly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues.
• Updates & Upgrades: Schedule, plan, and implement system updates, patches, and upgrades with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference.
• User Training & Support: Train staff on new system features and best practices, ensuring efficient utilization of technology across the company.
• Project Leadership: Contribute to IT projects such as system migrations, new technology deployments, and process optimizations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Experience: 3-5 years of system administration experience, ideally with exposure to ERP and/or safety systems used in industrial or construction environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in system management, performance monitoring, security protocols, and API integrations.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP software, Finance and safety management systems, and other business-critical applications.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server , or similar.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position, with occasional on-call responsibilities for system emergencies.
• On-Site: This is an in-office position requiring the candidate's presence during regular working hours.
