To the Woods Hair Salon is looking for a Salon Administrative Assistant—a key player who keeps our salon running smoothly while ensuring our team and clients have the best experience possible.
About the Role
As our Salon Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the point guard of our business—keeping things organized, efficient, and moving forward. You’ll report directly to the salon owners (who are behind the chair themselves) and help manage the daily workflow, ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
This role requires someone who is task-driven, adaptable, and able to prioritize shifting needs. Some days will be about handling front-desk operations, while others may focus on administrative projects or assisting with social media content.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Client & Front Desk Support: Greet clients warmly, manage appointments, and handle inquiries with efficiency and kindness.
- Salon Operations & Organization: Keep the salon running smoothly by maintaining inventory, coordinating schedules, and assisting with daily logistics.
- Administrative Tasks: Support the owners with operational tasks like ordering supplies, tracking revenue goals, and ensuring seamless salon workflow.
- Housekeeping: Folding towels & capes, laundry, sweeping floors, salon waste removal, pack up salon recycling, check mail, tidy waiting & processing areas
- Social Media Support: Assist in maintaining the salon’s presence by capturing and posting Instagram Stories.
- Revenue & Efficiency: Be a proactive force in ensuring the salon maximizes revenue opportunities while keeping the team supported and efficient.
- Special Projects: Tackle a variety of projects that evolve based on the salon’s needs.

Qualifications
- Interest in the Beauty/ Fashion/ Hair industry
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite
- Excellent organizational experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage front desk operations and provide customer support
- Typing proficiency and attention to detail in proofreading
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
