Job Summary
The Interim Assisted Living Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of an assisted living community, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support. This leadership position requires a compassionate individual with a strong background in healthcare management, particularly in long-term care settings. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, managing staff, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents. This is a 1099 Contract with WEEKLY PAY
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on quality of life and well-being.
- Manage budgeting and financial planning for the facility, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead and supervise staff, providing training and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical services for residents, including medication management and health assessments.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging residents in social activities and programs that promote independence and well-being.
- Address resident concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining open lines of communication with families.
- Stay informed about best practices in dementia care, home community care, and other relevant areas to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- A valid VA, Assisted Living Administrator License is REQUIRED.
- 2-3 Years of ALF experience needed
- Experience with budgeting and financial oversight within a healthcare environment is essential.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus, as well as knowledge of long-term care regulations.
