Recruitment and Training Manager
Position Summary
This position plays a critical role in building high-performing teams by leading the recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy Development
- Design and implement hiring strategies that build strong, cohesive teams.
- Monitor market trends to attract top-tier talent that aligns with organizational values and goals.
Candidate Sourcing and Outreach
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage diverse talent.
- Build lasting relationships with potential candidates to create a strong talent pipeline.
Screening and Interviewing
- Conduct thorough screenings to identify candidates who will thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Partner with department leaders to design interview processes that emphasize cultural fit, collaboration skills, and growth potential.
Collaboration and Engagement
- Partner with Directors, Managers, and Supervisors to understand team needs and define role requirements.
- Foster open communication with the core management team to align recruitment efforts with long-term talent strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning and team-building initiatives.
Talent Development and Training Programs
- Work with leadership to identify opportunities for internal talent development and growth.
- Collaborate with department heads to build and implement detailed training programs that align with team objectives and individual development goals.
- Ensure that training programs address technical skills, soft skills, and collaboration strategies to strengthen team performance.
- Evaluate and refine training programs based on feedback and measurable outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process that integrates new hires into both the team culture and the training program, setting them up for long-term success.
Candidate Experience
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience, emphasizing transparency and engagement throughout the recruitment process.
- Advocate for candidates by aligning their strengths with team and organizational needs.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities to analyze trends and improve processes.
- Provide actionable insights into hiring metrics that support team-building and talent development efforts.
Policy and Compliance
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with all local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion as integral aspects of team-building and hiring practices.
CDL Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for applicable positions.
- Direct CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) training programs, ensuring that drivers are fully prepared to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain records for CDL certifications and renewals, ensuring ongoing compliance with DOT requirements.
Position Requirements
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Occasional travel for recruitment events, job fairs, or community outreach initiatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the field staff; ideal candidates will have a basic knowledge of the Spanish language
- Background in Landscape Construction or Landscape related fields with a basic understanding of Landscaping
