Research & Adjustment Specialist - TEMPORARY

Overview This position is responsible for providing support specializing in Research and Fed Adjustments, in a multi-bank environment. Individuals in this role will respond to image system research requests from customers and other bank colleagues. Provide documentation for references and deposit verifications. Responsibilities Process check adjustments and monitor Federal Reserve Reconcilement. Provide timely and accurate customer service for matters such as: fulfilling requests for information and providing documentation for credit references, verifications of deposit and Medicaid/Social Security applications. Prioritize, and work with the team to finish assignments within deadlines and monitor daily workflow related to research requests and scanning. Prepare necessary account adjustments and account reconciliations. Adhere to Federal Reserve Bank Operating Circulars regulations. Assist in subpoena information gathering and presentation. Maintain open communication with the supervisor, discuss issues and escalate problems. Assist with maintaining current written procedures for all assigned duties. Perform duties of other team members as a backup when needed. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications A High School Diploma or GED. An Associate's degree in business related field or equivalent in experience is preferred. Previous experience with Bank Regulatory reporting requirements and experience with Bank Regulatory reporting requirements is preferred. Knowledge of banking systems and prior Operational or Banking Research experience is preferred. Talent in analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communications skills. Efficient use of technology, ability to type with speed and accuracy. Skilled in using Microsoft Office products and Internet/Browser based systems. Ability to handle pressure associated with meeting deadlines. Must be able to learn and retain knowledge for using multiple software programs.
