Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Accounting and Reporting:
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee the tax compliance process, including sales tax returns and 1099 forms
- Cash Flow Management:
- Optimize cash flow and manage working capital
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Team Management:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the wholesale distribution industry
- Strong strategic insights
- Experience growing and scaling start-ups
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
