Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Curve Dental or similar software systems.
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Utilize ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding for accurate record-keeping and billing purposes.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the office environment.
- Provide support to the dental team during procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Curve Dental or similar computerized systems is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding is advantageous.
- Excellent ten-key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
