Responsibilities :
- Perform calculations for drainage design, including spread, pipe and swale capacity, hydraulic grade line, and shear stress.
- Prepare reports and analyses for drainage and stormwater designs.
- Design and analyze erosion and sediment control practices.
- Prepare plans and design details for drainage, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control.
- Review and provide feedback on water resource-related elements of project plans.
- Conduct investigations, analyses, and reporting on water resource and drainage-related studies.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Interpret and apply local, state, and federal code requirements to design projects.
- Qualifications :
- 0-3 years of experience in stormwater, drainage, and hydraulic design.
- MUST have US experience
- Experience with projects in Delaware or Maryland is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
- Experience with Open Roads, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, plan and organize work, and support comprehensive design efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to maintain focused concentration.
- Valid driver's license with a demonstrated history of safe driving practices.
