JOB FUNCTIONS
- Facilitate the bid/quote development process from start to finish.
- Ensure that bid/quote falls within TND’s margin expectations unless otherwise directed from management.
- Work closely with sales management and sales team to understand the customers desired price point.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure they understand the opportunity and competitive landscape of the job.
- Establish a relationship with the vendor at the local market level.
- Maintain an organized file of all granted vendor bids and ensure that the Purchasing Team has visibility.
- Monitor bid/quote throughout the process, providing weekly status/exception reports as required.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Highly proficient computer skills including Outlook, MS Word, Excel
- A minimum of 5 years work experience providing administrative support in a sales and marketing or commercial environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt in an ever changing environment.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
