Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale AWS cloud migration for a global enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cloud transformation projects, with a strong background in AWS, enterprise IT infrastructure, and Agile methodologies. This role requires close collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth, secure, and efficient cloud migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end AWS cloud migration for a global enterprise, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application owners to ensure a seamless migration strategy.
- Oversee the migration of applications, databases, and workloads to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
- Manage relationships with AWS cloud service providers, consultants, and internal IT teams to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of IT project management experience, with 5 years leading cloud migration projects.
- Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC networking.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise IT transformations, change management, data center migrations, and cloud adoption strategies.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, and ITIL frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and governance.
- Hands-on experience with cloud automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong background in risk management, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
- PMP, PRINCE2, AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
Salary : $85 - $90
