About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Strategist to join our team at Topaz HR Advisory. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, safety training, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee leave programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
- Foster a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives, feedback, and morale-boosting activities.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, labor law, and safety standards.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication).
- Experience with payroll, benefits, and understanding of New Jersey labor law, OSHA safety regulations, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and foster strong relationships with employees and leadership.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
