What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary/Receptionist position at TOPCHOICE CAREGIVERS?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Complete and collect required demographic data from referred clients and referral sources within required timeframes.
- Schedule intake appointments within the appropriate time frame.
-Collaborate with clients, therapists and the entire team
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining records
- File and organize documents, both physically and electronically
- Transcribe meeting minutes and other important information accurately
- Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
-Works with the clinical supervisor around case management as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a receptionist or secretary preferred
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus for medical receptionist role
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle calls professionally
- Proficient in using Google Suite, Excel, Word, Google docs or similar office tools.
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to transfer calls effectively
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
-Understanding of mental health office services and knowledge of its clerical functions.
-Experience in data entry and proven accuracy in data entry skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.95 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
