General Summary
The Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of regular and recurring moderately to highly complex operational and accounting functions to support Credit Union operations This position will supervise the daily process and tasks related to Wire Transfer, ACH/EFT functions and maintenance, and other Electronic Banking processes. Additionally, this position is responsible for covering all areas relating to Plastics while providing backup for systems administration including reporting. This involves managing the Debit Card and Credit Card Portfolio, and working closely with vendors to minimize debit/credit card fraud. The O.S. will perform backup duties such as Item processing, as necessary, and work on various credit union projects relating to.
Responsibilities
Management of debit and credit card events. Post and balances daily transactions of network settlement and working exceptions. Prepares daily and monthly reconciliations of various GL's. Prepares and sends Fraud reports to Executive Management weekly. Monitors any increase of fraud against compromised card list reporting to management, as necessary. Download daily and monthly FIS reports. Works disputes in FIS for Debit and Credit cards including credits, denials, and member notifications. Sends disputes to FIS for processing of chargebacks. Assists in overseeing the card services portfolio including daily balancing, researching, and posting exception items. Processes reward transactions, as necessary. Assists in processing daily ACH files. Serves as a backup to the ACH, ATM Processing, and Share Draft.
Performs duties in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors, under the rules and regulations set by the National Credit Union Administration, in the State of Ohio.
