A leading and rapidly growing HVAC distributor based in NYC, specializing in ductless mini-split systems, is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales growth in the MA - New England regions.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Territory Branch Manager to join our newly opened Long island office. This role will focus on expanding our presence in MA - New England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the HVAC market, and a passion for customer service. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in growing our distribution network by building and maintaining long-term relationships with local HVAC contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Present and demonstrate the company’s products and services to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in industrial/distribution sector.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong follow-up skills, highly organized, and able to multitask.
- Ability to work effectively from home when necessary.
- Professional demeanor with a polished appearance.
- A strong desire to succeed and grow financially.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier items as needed.
Territory Details:
The territory covers MA - New England, and surrounding areas. Familiarity with this region is a plus.
