Responsibilities
- Lead by example, ensuring smooth and efficient daily café operations.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages.
- Oversee the preparation of food items like burritos, sandwiches, pizzas, and salads.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café environment.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance daily sales reports.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, keeping a safe and welcoming space.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and reducing waste.
- Jump in to support the team during busy hours—this is a hands-on role!
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or fast-casual restaurant (supervisory experience preferred).
- Passion for coffee, food, and customer service with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic inventory management is a plus.
- Food handler's and RBS certification required.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods in a busy café environment.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs. (supplies, coffee beans, cases of drinks, etc.).
- Reaching, bending, and stooping to access stock and equipment.
- Fast-paced movement during peak hours.
