General Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Director of Elder Affairs, this role ensures the seamless, equitable delivery of services to the senior community, with direct oversight of essential service lines, including food services, volunteer management, and transportation administration. This position involves coordinating daily operations, supporting budget management, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining transparent fiscal reporting. The Assistant Director is responsible for fostering consistent communication with the senior community, and ensuring they remain connected to important resources. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director oversees the department's daily functions and supports the Director with long-term strategic planning and high-level decision making.
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Health Administration or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
