The Town of Danvers welcomes applicants for the full-time, benefited position of Benefits Coordinator for the Human Resources Department. The Town of Danvers is a reputable Town on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for all Town staff, including a commitment to professional development and policies that promote and support a healthy work/life balance. Under the general supervision of the HR Director, the Benefits Coordinator performs highly confidential and semi-complex administrative tasks in recording and maintaining accurate benefits information for municipal and school employees and retirees
Desired qualifications include associate degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience, municipal office experience; experience with Munis and/or Admins is strongly preferred advanced with computers and Microsoft Office is required and a Valid Drivers license required.
This position works 35 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursdays 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – Noon. Non-union position (grade 11) pay scale starting at $69,147.26 annually with the ability to move through the pay scale via step system to a maximum of $85,742.57. Hiring rate DOQ. Excellent benefits including health, dental and vision insurance plans, participation in the Town’s retirement plan, Town match to 457 plan, and paid time off.
