JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Under the direction of the Chair of the Historical Commission. Provides support to the Historical Commission.
Responsibilities
Historical Clerk duties:
- General office duties
- Operation of standard office equipment
- Recordkeeping
Preparation of meeting packets and agenda
- Record and produce an accurate copy of meeting minutes to the chair in a timely manner.
- Attendance required at all evening meetings. Typically held at 4 pm on the third Monday of each month. (certain cases may require more than one per month)
- All other duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibility
None.
Work Environment:
Work is performed generally at home typing up meeting minutes.
Physical Demands:
Typing on the computers.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Part time
Plan to arrive 5 minutes before the meeting begins in preparation to record meeting minutes.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in office environment.
- Experience as a committee clerk desired, not required.
Salary : $16 - $24
