What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events and Facilities Assistant position at Town of Silverthorne?
The Events and Facilities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Pavilion Manager in the daily operations of the Silverthorne Pavilion, including the timely event set-up and break down of the Pavilion private and public events and Town sponsored outdoor events. Responsible for trash and recycling duties and light custodial work at the Pavilion. Consistent and professional communication with team members and the public is mandatory and is conducted via telephone, email and in person. Position averages up to 15 -20 hours a week revolving around the rental and programming schedule. The Pavilion’s rental and programming schedule is heaviest during the summer and fall months.
- Responsible for the set up and break down of events and meetings at the Pavilion including, but not limited to tables, chairs, staging, lighting, sound, decorations, canopy lights, lobby and patio furniture.
- Responsible for keeping the facilities clean and presentable for users at the Pavilion including, but not limited to flooring (hardwood, carpet, and tile), trash and recycling, windows, kitchen areas, dusting and polishing all surfaces, tables and chairs.
Assists with Town sponsored events as needed, including First Friday events. Work includes set up and take down of tents, tents weights, patio heaters, tables and chairs, bar supplies, clean up and removal of trash and event items at the conclusion of the event.
Hiring Range is: $23.41 to $26.53 per hour
Full Pay Range is: $23.41. to $31.21 per hour
