As a Deputy Clerk/Permit Technician for the Town of West Yellowstone, you will play a vital role in supporting the administration of our town.
About the Role
This non-exempt, full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.18, with an additional $1.00/hour after six months of successful probation. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, paid holidays, and participation in the Montana Public Employees Retirement System (PERS).
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Town Clerk/Human Resources Director, you will provide routine staff support and maintain the accuracy of our town's records. You will be the first point of contact for citizens seeking information about town functions and activities. Additionally, you will assist in development review, code enforcement, and issuing permits and licenses. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some post-secondary education or training in a related field preferred.
