What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Relations Manager position at Town Square Hospice Ohio?
1. Sales Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
2. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key referral sources such as hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, social workers, and discharge planners.
3. Market Analysis: Understand the local healthcare market and competitive landscape to tailor sales strategies effectively.
4. Education & Training: Provide educational sessions to healthcare providers and their staff on the benefits and eligibility of hospice care.
5. Customer Service: Offer ongoing support to referral sources, patients, and families to ensure satisfaction with hospice services.
6. Lead Generation: Proactively seek and pursue new business opportunities and develop a pipeline of qualified leads.
7. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward goals in the CRM system.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure the smooth transition of patients from referral to hospice care.
9. Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices, keeping up-to-date with changes in healthcare laws related to hospice.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in hospice or palliative care sales is a plus.
2. Knowledge of local healthcare systems and referral networks.
3. Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
Required Skills
1. Able to read 12-point or larger type
2. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, sufficient to prepare and send documentation/reports, and to interact with clients. Staff and peers.
3. Must show considerable initiative, judgement, and organizational skills to work independently.
4. Display advanced proficiency using all MS office applications, standard office equipment, and business technology.
5. Skilled in all aspects of planning and project management
