What are the responsibilities and job description for the Figure Skating Coach position at Town Toyota Center?
Role Description
Town Toyota Center and the Wenatchee Figure Skating Club are looking to hire passionate and driven individuals to add to our Figure Skating and Learn to Skate staff immediately. The Figure Skating Coach will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of figure skaters, designing and conducting practice sessions, providing individual and group coaching, and developing choreography for competitions and also ice show. The coach will ensure that all skaters are progressing effectively and safely.
Qualifications
- Minimum Silver (Novice) USFS tested in either freeskate or skating skills (MIF).
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- 3-5 years experience in coaching figure skating.
- Ability to develop and implement choreography for skaters.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with parents, coaches and rink management.
- All necessary USFS certifications completed.
- Ability to hold off-ice workouts for groups of multi-leveled athletes.
- Ability to commute/relocate to Wenatchee, Washington (98801) before starting work (Required)

Town Toyota Center is a multi-purpose, 2 ice sheet arena located in Wenatchee, WA. It proudly serves as the home of the WHL's Wenatchee Wild hockey team. We are dedicated to providing top-notch entertainment and recreational opportunities. Located in the heart of Washington State; a 2.5 hour drive to Seattle and Spokane & a 20 minute drive to the ski hill.
Salary : $70 - $90
