Position Summary: The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in process improvement and key performance indicators management (KPIs) to optimize warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Manage and lead a team of 70-100 associates, including supervisors and warehouse staff
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities
- Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, VAS (Value Added Service), packing, shipping, and Returns
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting within the WMS
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of products
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity
- Utilize lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations
- Develop and track KPIs to measure and improve warehouse performance
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience managing teams of 50 associates
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and KPI management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
