We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, managing correspondence, and processing payroll.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
- Maintain the general ledger accounting system and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process tax-related documents in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Utilize Quickbooks software for bookkeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a roofing or construction environment.
- Familiarity with debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and basic tax principles is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Quickbooks; experience with other financial tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling client and financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with team members and clients.
