Job Description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an accountancy practice bookkeeper to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ashford, Kent. The business has been undergoing continued and sustained positive growth through referrals and new business generation. The Directors have clear growth plans and vision, providing a supportive and progressive working environment. The firm has embraced online accounting, moving clients onto cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and experience of these programmes, or similar programmes is essential.
Joining as a Bookkeeper you will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeeping services, preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services, dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. You will work on varied clients, across a mix of industries and turnovers. Clients are primarily sole traders, limited companies and LLPs. You will carve a key, support role here to Managers and Directors with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer.
Requirements
- You may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirement to be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across bookkeeping, preparing vat returns, CIS, payroll etc within an accountancy practice firm of any size, as a Bookkeeper.
- You will have at least 2-5 years or ideally more experience, developed across any of these areas, within an accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement.
