Key Responsibilities Include
System Administration and Support:
- Responsible for system administration, including troubleshooting system and hardware-related issues, installing new software releases, and evaluating and installing patches to resolve software-related problems for both 3rd party software and Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Responsible for set-up and problem solving of all audio video related usage.
- Provides support to end-users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of resort software and hardware, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues promptly.
- Develops and matures system administration processes to ensure free-flowing escalation and information within the environment, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Studies existing infrastructure to monitor and enhance system performance, limiting downtime and ensuring optimal functionality.
- Audits system hardware/software to ensure compliance with organization guidelines, maintaining security and integrity in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information systems, overseeing servers, terminal connections, low voltage lighting programming and functionality, external and internal bandwidth/carrier services, and all public space music systems programming and functionality.
- Mentors and guides the system administration team and junior staff to follow best practices and standards, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high level of expertise within the department.
- Communicates effectively with internal teams, guests, and other departments as required, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring seamless operation and support across the organization.
- Associate or bachelor's degree within Information Systems/Computer Science preferred but not required.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar System Admin/IT Support role.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Operating systems and management technologies.
- Experience configuring, managing, and supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other Microsoft services and systems.
- Display strong knowledge of end-user hardware (Laptop, PCs, Printers, Devices).
- Experienced in or displaying the ability to learn how to automate the deployment of applications and patches.
- Administration and configuration of Audio-Video equipment.
- Must enjoy and be effective working in an environment that requires the ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and to produce timely deliverables at high-quality standards.
- Excellent service-driven customer-focused skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Any knowledge of InfoGenesis is a plus.
