Responsibilities for Well Drilling Team Member
- Work in a Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment
- Prepare Drilling Site: Help set up and prepare the drilling site by ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are ready for use
- Support Driller: Provide the lead driller with necessary tools and equipment during the drilling process.
- Move Materials: Help transport materials like pipes, casing, or cement to the drilling site, and assist in setting up and breaking down equipment.
- Clean Up: Help with cleaning up the job site after drilling operations are completed, including removing debris and storing equipment properly.
Responsibilities for Water Well Service Team Member
- Assist in Installing the Pump System: Help the lead installer with lowering, connecting, and securing the pump in the well casing. This may involve guiding the pump and pipes into place. Training will be provided, and you will need to show up, ready to work!
- Assist with Pump Repairs: Help with the removal, troubleshooting, and repair of malfunctioning water well pumps. This may involve disassembling parts, checking for wear or damage, and replacing worn components. Plumbing and electrical experience a plus.
- Assist in Diagnosing Issues: If the pump is not working properly, help identify potential issues, such as electrical faults, mechanical failures, or clogs, by following the lead installer’s guidance. Experienced personal welcomed.
Qualifications
- No experience? No problem! We offer on-the-job training.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude.
- Ready to work safely as a cooperating team member.
- Ability to work a full day outdoors and in various weather conditions year-round.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with machinery is a plus!
- TDLR Water Well Driller Apprentice license or Pump Installer Apprentice license is a plus!
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record will be required!
