2025 TRAC Summer Internship Program – (Purchasing/Inventory)
Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid) – 3 days in-office/2 days from home

We are currently accepting applications for rising juniors and seniors for participation in our paid, 11-week summer internship program centrally located at TRAC Intermodal’s corporate headquarters in Princeton, NJ.

Your Role
The role involves overseeing purchase orders, managing data reconciliation, and conducting analytical reviews. It requires proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. The position also entails updating vendor pricing and Blank Purchase Agreements, ensuring all required parts are included.
What You’ll Do
Core day-to-day responsibilities may include but are not limited to any of the following:
- Manage Purchase Orders, perform data reconciliation, and conduct analytical reviews.
- Utilize Excel, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP for various tasks.
- Produce weekly reports on all open Purchase Orders and pending deliveries.
- Verify shipment status and estimated arrival times with vendors and locations.
- Create weekly reports on pending Purchase Orders to measure the percentage change in accruals.
- Update vendor pricing and Blank Purchase Agreements.
- Ensure all required parts are included in the Blank Purchase Agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled as Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited college or university seeking a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
- 3.0 grade point average or higher
- Strong record of academic performance and extracurricular/community involvement
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience with an emphasis upon Excel (highly proficient experience in Excel is required for success in this role)
- Proficiency in learning and adapting to in-house software systems.
- Strong ability to function effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Analytical skills to identify problems and implement resolutions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail with strong data entry and research skills.
- This role is intended for candidates who are eligible to work in the United States without further sponsorship or authorization upon completing their education.

The internship program will run from Monday, June 2nd thru Friday, August 15th, 2025.
