Job Overview:
We are seeking a Freelance Art Director to lead the visual direction and creative development for our brand launch campaign in the power tools industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing the visual identity of the brand during the launch, ensuring a cohesive and impactful design across digital ads, social media, and print materials. You’ll collaborate closely with the copywriter and marketing team to create engaging visual assets that align with our new brand direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Concept Development: Lead the creation of the visual style for the brand launch, establishing guidelines for color, typography, imagery, and overall design to reflect the new brand identity.
- Campaign Assets: Design high-quality visuals for digital ads, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and other marketing materials that capture the brand’s message and resonate with the target audience.
- Creative Direction: Provide direction on photoshoots, product visuals, and any other creative assets needed for the brand launch, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with the copywriter and marketing team to ensure the visual design and messaging align seamlessly across all materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Art Director, with a portfolio demonstrating brand launch or marketing campaign design work.
- Strong knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design tools.
- Experience creating visual identities and marketing collateral for product-based campaigns.
- Ability to design for both digital and print mediums, including ads, brochures, and social media.
- Strong understanding of design principles, especially in the context of brand consistency.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the power tools or consumer products industry.
