Job Description
A Day in the Life of a Respite DSP
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide respite care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This includes taking them on outings, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing emotional support.
- Providing transportation to and from outings
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Providing emotional support and companionship
You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the best possible care for our clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable and responsible individual who can work independently
