What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Trafera LLC?
The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the HR team providing general support and guidance on initiatives related to full life cycle talent acquisition, benefits administration, talent management, employee relations, learning and development, and reporting.
The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role.
- Build trusted and effective relationships to advance an organizational culture that lives the values.
- Full cycle talent acquisition including creating job descriptions, determining job classifications, partnering with leaders to create recruiting strategies, managing job boards, metric tracking, and ensuring a great candidate experience.
- Manage ATS data collection, tools, and technology.
- Actively participate in organizational structure, skills inventory, and succession planning. Partner proactively with leaders to develop staffing plans that drive current and future business objectives.
- Actively participate in creating and implementing a comprehensive onboarding program that welcomes new team members to the organization and equips them for success.
- Manage employee data record changes such as wage or position changes, new hire and separations.
- Maintain employee record integrity, all data is up to date, accurate, and complete
- Participate in planning and implementing employee engagement programs, surveys, and events.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, with emphasis on creating and maximizing HR processes.
Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or other related field or the equivalent amount of training and hands on experience
- 3 years’ experience in a relevant HR, talent acquisition or other related role for 300 employees, multi-state preferred
- Experience using HRIS and ATS systems, preferably ADP
- High degree of integrity and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization
- Ability to create business process documents and present ideas or train others in clear and collaborative ways
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with analyzing HR data and performance metrics
- Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout the Twin Cities as necessary.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
