We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Controller Supervisor to join our team. The Traffic Controller will help maintain a safe environment while facilitating the progress of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction sites to ensure safety.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices, such as cones, signs, and barriers.
- Communicate clearly with construction teams to coordinate activities and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as necessary to maintain safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop effective traffic management plans.
- Assist in quality control measures by ensuring that all traffic control devices are properly maintained and positioned.
Experience
- Previous experience in a construction site environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management principles related to construction operations.
- Knowledge of construction inspection processes and quality control standards.
- Experience in construction management or estimating is a plus.
- Understanding of electrical systems may be advantageous for specific projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
