Hours: This role is on an as-needed basis. No hours guaranteed. The client will send weekly schedules ahead of time. This role is best for someone who has another part-time job with consistent hours, seeking supplemental income.

This position will involve commuting to residences and businesses in the DMV area.

- Pay Range - $15 to $20/hr.

- Local business outreach for home service advertising placements
- Local homeowners and renters outreach for home services advertising placements
- Writing, editing, and posting home service advertising content
- Marketing support for the organization in general
- High School diploma marketing, business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, or media relations OR experience in the home services industry and ability to communicate professionally with other businesses and potential clients.
- Ability to work independently with high level of integrity and documentation/reporting skills.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills that enable a high volume of detailed work.
- Professional writing and editing experience.
- Ability to commute up to 50% of the time, including with the DC, MD, and VA areas up to 80 miles from current place of residence.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Experience in communicating on technology topics a plus.
- Social media experience a plus.
- Experience with content management system.
- Experience with marketing and communication platforms.
- High School diploma is required
- Associates degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred but not required.
