Supply & Equipment Specialist
The Supply & Equipment Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cleaning services by managing inventory, tracking supplies, and maintaining janitorial equipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on technical ability, and a commitment to operational efficiency. The Supply & Equipment Specialist will oversee the availability of essential supplies, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and collaborate with the operations team to meet client needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and consumables to ensure availability at all times.
- Track supply usage and coordinate restocking to avoid shortages.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair janitorial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, and other tools.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment.
- Support the operations team by delivering supplies and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for equipment use.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic mechanical or technical knowledge to repair janitorial equipment.
- Valid Driver's License required for supply deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking.
- Spanish bilingual proficiency is preferred.
