- Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing process in compliance with Transco company goals and objectives.
- Analyze delivery and inventory issues and provide solutions.
- Establish and control conditions within production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications.
- Organize and direct workflow for satisfying production requirements in a cost-efficient manner.
- Investigate and analyze new coordinates and processes, where feasible.
- Develop and motivate the cost-effective alternatives and improvements to the production process.
- Maintain employee safety and morale by creating a safe and efficient working environment
- Manage the purchasing, inventory control, distribution, production scheduling tasks for local business unit.
- Maintain proper employment levels through selecting, interviewing, and training (or assigning training) of new employees.
- Communicate directly with customers to develop strong relationships.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- High level of leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and train people.
- Ability to interact with all professionals within the local and corporate business unit.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- This position has supervisory responsibility (Assistant Plant Manager reports to this position).
- Thorough understanding of scheduling system, production control, and process flows.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and supervision of such activities
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
- Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, work boots and the ability to wear a respirator

- Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
