Transdev provides a broad range of services for the client’s autonomous driving testing and development efforts.Under the direction of the Manager Human Resources this position will perform a variety of human resources clerical duties at the corporate level. They will be a self-motivated individual who is passionate about improving employee engagement, communication, retention and company culture within a fast-growing organization.
Pay Range: - $18.00-$25.00
Responsibilities:
- Provides clerical support to human resources staff
- Respond to routine HR inquiries
- Responsible for maintaining active and terminated employee files and conducting annual audit of same
- Reviews tuition reimbursement request and submits for approval.
- Responsible for setting up users with HR vendors.
- Enters new hire data and employee life cycle changes into the human resources information system and time tracking system.
- Review and reconcile invoices received for HR and remit for approval
- Maintain and update all required forms dealing with but not limited to employment & wage verifications, unemployment claims, WOTC and subpoenas
- Assist locations with shut down process
- Travel to start up locations to assist with onboarding and other start up processes.
- Point of contact for Corporate/field HR communication
- Maintains confidentiality of all information
- Assist with day to day HR operations
- Serves as back up to HR Generalist
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Education, Licensing, and Experience:
- Must be 21 years old;
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree (and /or equivalent job experience) preferred
- One year of relevant office experience required.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources preferred.
- ADP experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of basic human resource practices, including human resource compliance and regulatory environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Travel requirement: 25%.
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment, in fast-paced, high stress environments.

95% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities

Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a computer.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
- All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Safety Sensitive Positions will also be subject to a physical screening
- Transdev maintains a Drug Free Workplace and may require participation in a random drug screening program.
- Transdev reserves the right to perform ongoing background checks for all employees except in states where this is prohibited by state law. Transdev will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
- Employees must maintain an acceptable Driving Record suitable to being approved to drive as part of their regular duties. Records are monitored on an ongoing or regular basis pursuant to local state law.

Ability to qualify for an Autonomous Vehicle Tester (AVT) license in states and positions where it’s required
