Part Time Microtransit Reservations Specialist - Must Be Bilingual in Spanish and English
The Microtransit Reservations Specialist will report to the Lead Microtransit Operations Supervisor and is responsible for answering inbound call intake related to new Microtransit bookings, cancelations, ETA’s, and general questions. This position also assists with outbound call outreach to eligible Paratransit users in relation to adapting over to the Microtransit Services.
Pay Range: $17.00-$17.00 per hour; no benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Answers inbound reservation bookings for Microtransit General Public callers who wish to book new rides.
- Assists with ETA calls.
- Assists with customer cancelations.
- Provides superior customer service at all times.
- Assists With Customer Comment Outreach.
- Assists With Ride Choice/ Paratransit Outreach.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- The Ideal candidate will have a minimum (1) years’ experience in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Knowledge of:
- Software booking platforms.
- Avondale, Goodyear, Surprise and Peoria Communities.
Abilities To:
- Speak fluently in English and Spanish.
- Work independently to perform a variety of functions while working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrate analytical skill and high level of discretion and judgement to support and inform decision making processes.
- Establish cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external staff, both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service.
- Has the desire to care for the organization's well-being and for the co-workers he/she interacts with.
- Be open to collaborate and work in a team-oriented and helping environment.
- Possess a positive attitude, and ability to practice good judgement, while open to receiving/providing feedback.

Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
