TRIO is looking for a HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will be hybrid based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to the Uruguay team for all HR matters. This position will also be assigned additional service lines with team members outside of Uruguay.
- Facilitate recruitment cycle. Post positions, screen applicants, schedule interviews, check references, and extend offers. Support managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding specialist. Coordinate all processes to enable an efficient and personal onboarding experience for new employees.
- Coordination of job descriptions, role descriptions and CVs.
- Maintain payroll records and provide supporting documentation to payroll for the Uruguay team.
- HR Documentation and Records Management: Prepare and manage HR documents accurately such as offer letters, warnings, letters, agreements and other documentation. Process and maintain data within our HRIS, Sage People including New hires, terminations, organizational changes, generating reports and other duties.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement with employee events.
- Provide support/coach staff and supervisors to manage performance concerns
throughout the year and through our formal review process. Maintain accurate records and documentation of performance issues.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
- Post-secondary education in human resources or related degree
- Solid knowledge of Uruguay employment legislation and regulations; exposure to other countries would be an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Bilingualism (English/Spanish) is required
- This position is not considered a people manager, therefore has no direct reports.
