Job Summary
This position is the main HR focal point for functional leaders globally. The role provides strategic global HR leadership, guidance and counsel to assigned functions, which includes serving in an advisory/consultative role on governance issues related to company policy, procedure, relevant laws, and regulations, all while ensuring compliance, and identifying and managing risks to the company on a global scale. This role addresses employee relations issues, creates and facilitates HR training to educate leadership, leads HR initiatives and provides HR guidance, recommendations, coaching and strategic resolution, i.e., for investigations, discipline, performance improvement, people development, grievances, and terminations.Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with assigned functions to plan and execute strategic people movements.
- Manage and advise leadership on employee relations issues and performance management.
- Attend regular meetings with respective functions and provide relevant HR advice to set business strategies.
- Create and facilitate training to educate leadership on HR topics.
- Initiate transactions and maintain personnel data in the HR System of Record
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience in lieu of formal education considered.
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years in progressively higher HR influencing roles.
- Demonstrated experience in human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
- Proficient with MS Office products.
- Proficiency in HCM applications with Workday application experience, a plus.
- Oil and gas industry experience, a plus.
