Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments and returns.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation and storage procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and maintain efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and monitor productivity.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse processes.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Manage and ensure the housekeeping of facility
- Ensure that inbound and outbound freight scheduled is on time and accurate.
- Help to maintain warehouse inspection points such as emergency exits.
- Ensure that all parcel (UPS) is checked daily
- Work in other areas as needed
- Hold communications meeting prior to shift.
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating practices when handling materials and equipment
- Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Keeping work areas clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials in designated bins or areas.
- Collaborating with other team members, supervisors, and departments to coordinate material movements and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
- Following established procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse or storage area and assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Participating in training programs and safety meetings as required.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Conduct yearly and quarterly performance reviews
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issue related to product quality storage and safety
Requirements:

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of three years previous management experience preferred
- Warehouse and inventory management experience preferred
Language Ability:
- Excellent English verbal, written and reading communication skills.
- Ability to document expectations in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Forklift certification (preferred).
Math Ability:
- Basic math skills are essential for this position
Computer Skills:
- Basic navigation on the computer is required.
