Overview
Trauma Treatment & Counseling is an established therapy office expanding services to include medication management. We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! This role is ideal for those in Medical Assistant school or looking for growth opportunities in a mental health setting.
Job Summary
The Medical Assistant/Receptionist will provide front desk support while assisting with clinical tasks under the guidance of the lead medical assistant. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, manage messages, and greet clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and medical record management.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including sanitizing workspaces.
- Support the lead medical assistant with patient care and clinic operations.
- Ensure efficient communication between clients, medical staff, and providers.
- Handle other office duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or administrative role is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for mental health care and patient support.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Current or aspiring Medical Assistant students are highly encouraged to apply!
