Job Description
We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) with 1 year of experience to work an immediate travel opening in Lumberton, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance as required
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
- Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
About the Assignment
This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and evenings. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
