Job Summary
This individual is responsible for assisting in managing Traverse City Eye’s financial operations, budgeting and forecasting. This position is responsible for ensuring fiscal accountability and driving informed financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and financial reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, perform financial forecasting, and provide actionable insights to guide spending and investment decisions.
- Analytical Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Decision Support: Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and approve unbudgeted spending, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Systems Management: Maintain and optimize QuickBooks and Excel to streamline data entry and reporting processes.
- KPI Development: Track key financial performance indicators to measure the organization’s success and financial health.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls for greater accuracy and efficiency.

- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
