Job Description
The HR Assistant will support the HR Team in the areas of recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, reporting, employee events, and HR projects. The position will provide administrative support to the department to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for candidates and employees.

Job Description
- This is a temporary part time position
The HR Assistant will support the HR Team in the areas of recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, reporting, employee events, and HR projects. The position will provide administrative support to the department to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for candidates and employees.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
- Coordinate schedules for internal and external candidates including telephone, video conference, and in-person meetings.
- Assist with booking all travel and expense reimbursement for candidates.
- Coordinate pre-employment drug and background checks, review and communicate results to the recruiter(s) to ensure all essential day-one processes.
- Prepares and schedules the new hire orientation with the employees (invites, including managers).
- Assists TA with coordinating day one and post-onboarding tasks as needed.
- Complete new hire tasks including sending new hire report to Onboarding task owners
- Updates Payroll tracker new hire information including, one-time payments (relocation bonuses or reimbursements sign-on bonuses, referral bonuses,
- Creates termination documents (letter, offboarding form) for resignations and supports Sr. HR Generalist in scheduling Exit Interviews; supports recordkeeping of term information (BOX)
- Assist Sr. HR Generalist with event coordination, as needed (Q1 event, Town Hall)
- Supports HRBP team with the maintenance of TMC employee Intranet page including online resource and IT form updating(job change forms,
- Assist Sr. HR Generalist with job description maintenance, including formatting and recordkeeping (for audit).
- Support the HR department and functions with administrative tasks including HR/Benefits inboxes, benefits administration tasks, mail, lunches, supplies, paperwork, benefit informational materials
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma required with associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Previous experience supporting an HR department
- Experience with recruitment activities, including candidate management
