POSITION SUMMARY:
This position oversees and manages all aspects of program operations. This includes being involved in initial program selection, due diligence, onboarding, and offboarding if necessary, communicating program updates to all key stakeholders and working closely with senior leaders to resolve program issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Has ownership of and authority over program due-diligence process ensuring process in place is efficient and complete.
- Has ownership of and authority over onboarding process ensuring process in place is efficient and complete.
- Member of Underwriting Committee to assist in program selection and program changes as needed.
- Assists in creating program structures and communicating same to internal departments.
- Regularly reports program updates to Insurance Operations Committee, and internal stakeholders.
- Works with IT and Underwriting departments to create program analytics for presentation to partners, Insurance Operations Committee, and various corporate Boards.
- Generate actionable and timely metrics / reports to assist in evaluating program performance / profitability.
- Ownership of contract process for program specific contracts including general agent and third-party administrator contracts.
- Management of Partner Relations and Program Business Development teams.
- Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of property casualty program experience, including involvement in program selection, program structure and onboarding.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PPT, Word, Salesforce and contract management software.
- Understanding of commercial insurance products and has the willingness to learn about new insurance developments, trends, and products.
- Exceptional communication skills and business acumen are necessary.
- Must be a self-starter with proven analytical skills and the ability to operate independently, escalating items as necessary.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with commitment to honesty, integrity, and unwavering business ethics.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with co-workers and external partners.
- Continuing insurance industry designations beneficial. (i.e. AINS, CPCU, AU)
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
